In 2018, I continued working alongside OYE as a Planning Committee member and worked under the T-Shirt Subcommittee. There were approximately around 350 people in attendance for the 2018 conference. This design continues with the theme of unity, but also signifies growth in a variety of different fields, demonstrating the diversity among the people and subjects of the OYE conference.
The OYE Conference was a free annual day-long event that hosted a variety of motivational speakers, workshops, performances, and resources for the LatinX youth in San Mateo County. In 2018, I continued working alongside Orgullo y Educacíon as a Planning Committee member under the T-Shirt Subcommittee. There were approximately around 350 people in attendance for the OYE 2018 conference. This design aligns with the themes of unity, growth, and diversity among the people and subjects of the OYE conference.
2017
Junior Year of high school, I worked as the Administrative Intern for the OYE Planning Committee. The OYE Conference is an annual event directed towards LatinX youth in San Mateo County. The conference hosts motivational speakers, workshops, performances, and resources covering a variety of subjects all for free. The estimated attendance for this event was approximately 250 people.
30 Years Shaolin Culture Center

To celebrate the 30th year of my parents’ martial arts and cultural center business, I designed this logo to be projected in the background of the annual winter showcase and to be worn on shirts for students and parents and engraved on wine glasses. The logo includes the business logo in the number thirty, and uses my father’s iconic nunchuck pose as the ‘A”. Approximately 400 people attended.

Last year, I was in charge of designing T-Shirts for my parents’ lion dance summer camp. Their business focuses on preserving Chinese cultural tradition through engaging activities such as acrobatics and martial arts. This design was created with a digital art program called Easy Paint Tool Sai.
