AUG 2019 - Now - Active Member, Cal Habitat for Humanity

  • Engaged in volunteering activities ranging from tutoring to serving food to assist the local community

  • Designed T-Shirts for Operation Playhouse, a day dedicated to building small playhouses for kids in the East Bay

AUG 2020 - Now - Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer, AIAS

  • Assisted in planning and contributing to promoting diversity in the architecture field with the American Institute of Architecture Students by creating and sharing lesser-known stories of Black and Native American Architectures

JUN 2017 - Foothill College STEM Camp. 3D Modelling Program

  • Studied and produced basic 3D Models in Fusion 360 and TinkerCAD, learned essential mechanisms of a 3D Printer, and created simple animated characters, and scenes for a personal video game application.

AUG 2020 - Now - Vice President and Build Lead, Blockeley University

  • Managed building projects for Halloween and Christmas in UC Berkeley’s Minecraft recreation, Blockeley University.

Scholarship Funded Activities

JUL 2019 - Design and Innovation for Sustainable Cities (DISC*) at UC Berkeley CED

  • Received partial financial scholarship through Disc* Program

  • Participated in field work, developed SWOT analysis, and designed new infrastructure for the designated site of El Cerrito del Norte. Project focused on people-friendly transit-oriented development around the BART Station

  • Created simulation board as final product with 3D printed and Rhino modelled pieces.

JUN 2019 - Regeneration Field Institute

  • Recipient of Judith Lee Stronach Undergraduate Travelling Scholarship under UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design 

  • Studied functions and properties of bamboo in Chone, Ecuador whilst learning about sustainable architecture, permaculture, and landscaping.

JUN 2017 - Foothill College STEM Camp. 3D Modelling Program

AUG 2020 - Now - Student Assistant, Institute of Urban and Regional Development

  • Assisted in creating graphic charts, flyers, and templates in InDesign and Illustrator for Y-PLAN, a city planning youth engagement program integrated nationally among schools, and Y-PLAN Connects, a virtual version to continue to foster interactive communities in remote environments

SEP 2020 - Now - Undergraduate Research Assistant, Center for the Built Environment

  • Conducted research sessions on the Psychology of Space: understanding environmental influences and manipulations on emotion regulation, well-being, and efficiency to better design smart building systems.

MAY 2020 - AUG 2020 Y-PLAN Summer Internship, Center for Cities and Schools

  • Consolidated projects from Y-PLAN spring studio course in a digital toolkit as a foundation for Y-PLAN Connects

  • Constructed policy briefs and researched projects produced from Skyline High School and Oakland High School’s integrated Y-PLAN programs.

SEP 2019- MAY 2020 - College of Environmental Design Archives Collections Apprenticeship

  • Processed Campbell & Wong Collection for future exhibition and display at the Environmental Design Library

  • Working on processing the slide collection of Donald Olsen for the Environmental Design Archives at UC Berkeley to prepare for the upcoming Spring exhibition in the Environmental Design Library

2016-2017 Administrative Intern - Orgullo y Educacion Conference Planning Committee

  • Worked as an Administrative Intern in assisting with planning for OYE Planning Committee meetings, used Google products such as spreadsheets to organize funding and documents to take minutes.

  • Ran a youth workshop support access and equity in education, specifically on pursuing college and offered resources

  • Performed Lion-Dancing with Shaolin culture Center as a part of the Lunchtime Performances in OYE 2017

  • Designed T-Shirts for OYE 2017-2018 Conferences for about 200-300 attendees and staff at each event

Nov 2017 Affordable Housing Advocate, North Fair Oaks Housing March

  • Speech Writer and Guest Speaker for North Fair Oaks Housing March addressing gentrification in Redwood City. Speech content addressed the impact of displacement on District 4 students, families, and community.
